Alex Yin is the senior advisor of Tsar and Tsai since Sep. 2017. Before joining Tsar &Tsai Law Firm, he served as the head prosecutor of Taiwan Taichung District Prosecutors Office and the public prosecutor Taiwan Kaohsiung District Prosecutors Office for more than 13 years, with special focus on securities law violations, IP infringement, and anti-corruption. He also had been in charge several high-profile cases on white–collar crime.

During his term of a prosecutor, he has also worked at Department of International and Cross-Straits Legal Affairs, MOJ for 4 years, where he was mainly responsible for affairs on Mutual Legal Assistance affairs between Taiwan and other countries , and has played as a contact point of Arin-AP, an international network on asset recovery and Act-Net, an international judicial cooperation network under Anti-Corruption and Transparency Working Group, APEC.

In addition, Alex also acted as legal counsel on International trade Law, cross-border legal cooperation, treaties and bilateral investment, such as TiSA (Trade in Service Agreement), Bilateral Investment Agreements, when he worked for MOJ.

Alex has both legal and business background by training, he earned his MBA in Finance from National Cheng Kung University. He could deal with the disputes not inly from a legal point of view and also considers the needs of the business. ,
