Mr. Tim Chou is a senior associate with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm. Tim joined the firm in 2006 and specializes in anti-trust laws, banking and financing, mergers and acquisitions, labor laws and the dispute resolution, including civil litigation, administrative litigation and arbitration.
Tim is an expert in anti-trust laws. He has assisted multi-national and domestic companies in various types of cases including allegation of concerted actions, horizontal or vertical restraints and unfair competition. Tim has also assisted numerous companies in their merger filings.
Tim’s transaction experience includes representing a private equity fund in investment and transaction financing in the media sector in Taiwan, representing a multi-national bank to acquire a distressed domestic bank, representing a prominent computer company in financing of its acquisition of an American computer company and assisting a domestic company in spinning off its notebook and server department.
Tim also specializes in litigation and dispute resolution. He has represented many multi-national and domestic companies in civil and administrative litigations and arbitrations.
Prior to joining the Firm, Tim served as an official with Taiwan Fair Trade Commission. During his tenure with the Fair Trade Commission, Tim was responsible for investigation of monopoly, concerted actions, merger, and other vertical or horizontal restraints.
