Mr. Ray Hsu is a counsel with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm IP Practice Group’s Patent Department. Ray is a licensed attorney specializing in intellectual property law with a focus on patent related issues. In addition to being a licensed attorney, Ray is also a trained biochemist having more than 10 years of experience in the field of chemistry and biochemistry.
Ray’s prior patent related work includes drafting patent specifications, patent application filings, assisting multinational companies in obtaining patent protection for their applications related to pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, consumer products and materials for semiconductor and optoelectronic industry, deposition of biological materials for patent purposes in the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, microbiology, pharmaceuticals, performing patent analyses and patent invalidation actions.
Prior to joining Tsar & Tsai, Ray worked as a researcher at a biotech company for four years.
