Mr. Jay You is a counsel with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm IP Practice Group Trademark Department.  Jay has more than twenty years of experience on trademark matters, including assisting clients on registration and protection of trademark rights, analysis on the availability and registrability of trademark, trademark disputes and trademark infringement and administrative appeals for trademark related matters. 

Prior to joining Tsar & Tsai Law Firm, Jay is a trademark examiner with the Department of Trademarks of National Bureau of Standards (the precursor of the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office) from 1985 to 1988.

Because of his rich experience on trademark rights protection and enforcement, the Taiwan Intellectual Property Office has retained Jay as a member of its Trademark Inspection Quality Committee since March 2007.
