Ms. Wendy Chen is a counsel with Tsar & Tsai Law Firm and the Tsar & Tsai IP Practice Group Patent Department’s chemistry section chief. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of chemistry and biochemistry. Prior to joining Tsar & Tsai, Wendy worked as a patent engineer at an international patent and law firm and also worked for Union Chemical Lab., the Industrial Technology Research Institute, the Institute of Biomedical Science and the Institute of Chemistry of Academia Sinica.
Wendy joined Tsar & Tsai in 1997. She specializes in patent drafting/prosecution, deposit of biological materials for patent purposes, patent invalidation/defense against invalidation, administrative remedy, applications for patent term extension, patent searches and infringement analyses for the cases related to chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agricultural chemicals, consumer products, materials for semiconductor and optoelectronic industry and biotechnology, etc.
